I’m an old data nerd. I’ve spent time working with existing data extracts from leading ERP’s includind SAP, Maximo, Oracle and various CMMS systems. I also leverage the back end of many cloud platforms such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, and others. Plus, there is also the matter of creating data from scratch where none has previously existed!

Through my experience, I thought I’d seen it all! Not the case but a few things remain consistent – clean data aligned with your existing IT investment is essential to every area of your business.  From accounting, to finance, sales, human resources, CRM management, work order management – I can rationalize and build access to concentrated data that serves as a foundation for making sound business decisions.

My focus delivers results in four areas to correct unstructured data:

• Data collection (or “ground up” builds where data does not exist)
• Key attributes (commoditization, research, link to digital assets)
• Enrichment (maximize your current system, cross-referencing)
• Standardization (proper nomenclature, speed recall, align with industry standards, de-dup records)

I consider the quality of your data and where you would like to go through varying levels of sophistication.  Avoid the costs associated with incomplete or out-of-date data and lack of visibility that impact your profitability.
